There will be no downtime after your medifacial. Some people may experience mild flushing immediately post-treatment, but this typically settles quickly and does not prevent you from going about your day. You can apply makeup right away, although you may not want to cover up your refreshed complexion!
As precautions, we advise limiting sun exposure after your medifacial and being mindful of your skincare routine. Products containing harsh chemicals or irritants may aggravate your skin if it is sensitive post-treatment. Your practitioner will recommend an appropriate skincare routine for you to follow after your facial.
Medifacials do not require specific post care however we do recommend always applying SPF and avoiding exfoliation for the next 3-5 days as your medifacial involves an exfoliation step.
